QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required. Must have excellent interpersonal skills in a mixed culture context. Must be organized and professional able to establish and maintain supportive working relationships with staff, the public, service groups and facility users. A minimum of 2 years of work experience as a receptionist, greeter, administrative assistant or equivalent is required. Experience working in youth programming/services preferred. The majority of this experience should have had high public contact and visibility. Must be able to operate a personal computer and learn operation of software applications. Must have experience in conflict resolution skills to respond to membership/fee/program related inquiries. Must hold and/or be willing to obtain the following: Food Handlers Certification, First Aid/CPR certification, and Water Watcher certification in the first six months of employment and must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
