QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, social work, counseling, nursing, public health, health administration, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.  Supervisory and program development experience in behavioral health, crisis services, community mental health, substance use services, or related settings required. Experience in rural, tribal-serving, community based, or integrated health settings preferred.  Knowledge of crisis intervention, suicide prevention, care coordination, policy development, staff training, and quality improvement required.  Strong communication, organization, project management, and problem-solving skills required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides leadership, coordination, development, and operational oversight of Marimn Health’s Crisis Services Program, including mobile response, crisis center operations, and staff and community education related to crisis response.
  • Works with Behavioral Health leadership to establish service priorities, workflows, staffing expectations, and program goals for crisis services.
  • Oversees development and implementation of crisis policies, procedures, operational workflows, and service expectations.
  • Support startup planning, program implementation, and ongoing refinement of crisis response processes in a small rural and tribal service setting.
  • Coordinates with behavioral health, medical, grants, finance, compliance, case management, recovery support and community partners to support continuity of care and program effectiveness.
  • Oversees staff and community education are related to crisis response, suicide prevention, de-escalation, and related behavioral health topics.
  • Monitors quality, incident review, operational reporting, and service gaps related to crisis and brings recommendations forward to Behavioral Health leadership.
  • Supports crisis program sustainability through reporting, collaboration, and practical problem-solving across departments and community partners.
